The following categories of candidates would be eligible for admission into this course—

1. In-service – Graduates with teaching degree diloma (any level).
2. Presently ‘not working’ – Graduates with teaching degree (any level) and at least two years of teaching or related experience.
3. Postgraduates in Psychology/Education/Social Work/Child Development /Special Education/Human Resource Development. Preference will be  given to those with at least one year of teaching or relevant experience.
4. Candidates from outside India who are not graduates but have a teaching   degree (any level) are required to have three years of work experience in the relevant area. However, admission committee set up for the course will see the academic equivalence of qualifications of foreign candidates. Minimum marks for all target groups is 50% (5% relaxation for SC/ST  candidates).
