Candidates desirous of seeking admission into the course are required to fill in the prescribed application form which can be downloaded from NCERT website (www.ncert.nic.in) and submit it electronically (i.e., through e-mail) in addition to submitting the same by post/surface mail. The application forms duly filled in should be submitted to the Regional study centre where the applicant is residing.Screening of candidates is done according to eligibility and other criteria decided by the screening committee. Eligible candidates will be called at study centres in their regions for a selection test. The selection test includes essay writing and interviews. Candidates would be traveling to the study centre to take the selection test at their own expense. Selected candidates would be required to sumbmit their original certificates/ documents after the selection procedure is over on the same day. The process of admission will be closed by the end of December, 2008. Remember—the admission offer is valid for a period of two years from the date of admission.
