  1. Once you are selected, you need to send the acceptance and enroll in the course  by the date communicated by the concerned study centre.if you fail to pursue the course after accepting admission, or dropout,you will have to apply afresh if you still desire to join the course in the be valid for one more year. subsequent years. If you drop out after payment of fees, admission will be valid for one more year.
  2. If you leave during or after distance learning phase, you will be able to carry over the credits earned by you based on the work completed by you and submitted for evaluation if you rejoin the course.
  3. Those who leave the course anytime during the contact programme will have to repeat the contact programme again from the beginning and bear all expenditure required to be incurred.
  4. You are expected to read and complete self-check and self-evaluation exercises and activities, and maintain a record of these as a part of ‘portfolio assessment’. You are also required to bring all the study material and completed portfolio with you when you come for the contact programme.
  5. If assignments are not completed satisfactorily by the candidates prior to coming for the contact programme, they will be allowed to join the next year’s contact programme.
  6. In case of any difficulty, candidates should contact the coordinators of their respective study centre or mentor/tutor with whom they may be in contact

The following rules will apply during the three-month contact programme—Candidates:

  1. Are required to be in the department from 09:00 a.m. to 05:30 p.m. with a lunch break from 01:00 p.m. to 02:00 p.m.
  2. Shall observe the rules with regard to discipline, punctuality, regularity etc.
  3. Shall not miss any session/class period without prior permission of the teacher concerned. Absence from any session without permission will be treated as absence for the whole day.
  4. Are required to complete all the requirements of the supervised practica in order to be eligible for appearing in the end-trimester written evaluation.
  5. Will be allowed station leave only in case of special circumstances.
  6. Will have to take prior written permission of the course coordinator for leaving station in case of exigency.
  7. May be asked to leave the course if found indulging in anti-social,anti-national undesirable activities.
  8. Will not be given ‘no dues’ while leaving the department/centre at the end of the contact programme unless they submit all the assignments including reports of practicum work. They have to strictly adhere to the schedule of submission of assignments/reports.
